Sex Offender Alerts Information
With all the recent information about Sex Offenders in local news we wanted to make sure families have the information they need to ensure the safety of our East Hill Elementary Family. The school district no longer provides Sex Offender information individually to the students. There is a notebook available i the office at school or you can sign up for Sex Offender Email Alerts through King County -
Halloween Safety
Halloween is the deadliest day of the year for child pedestrian accidents. An average of 5.5 child pedestrians die on Halloween each year, over double the average number of 2.6 fatalities on other days of the year. Particularly dangerous was the hour between 6:00-7:00 p.m., twilight in most states, when it's more difficult to see children crossing the street.

Pedestrian Safety
Unintentional pedestrian injuries are the fifth leading cause of injury-related death in the United States for children ages 5 to 19. Talk to your kids about how to be safe while walking. It’s always best to walk on sidewalks or paths and cross at street corners, using traffic signals and crosswalks. Most injuries happen mid-block or someplace other than intersections. If there are no sidewalks, walk facing traffic as far to the left as possible. Links for more school zone safety information:

WIC Information
Lots of Families quality for WIC and don't know it. WIC is a nutrition program for pregnant women, new and breastfeeding moms, and children under 5. It provides health screenings and referrals, nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and monthly checks for healthy food. For more information click the link below:
Vaccination Information
Protect your child - Get them vaccinated! There are high numbers of measles and whooping cough cases in our state and across the country. Protect your child as he or she heads back to school.
